• You’re done doing this alone. You want community, clarity, and momentum

This retreat isn’t for you if:

• You just want a vacation (this is fun—but it’s work)

• You think you don't need to know how to write to be successful—you do

• You’re not open to sharing, reflecting, or being part of a small, collaborative group

After you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to submit your 500-word writing sample and a short intake form.

We’ve got your room, your meals, your tours, and your sessions covered. You handle the getting here and the little indulgences along the way

This retreat is designed to be a transformative, collaborative space for writers. Digital Media Ghost is committed to maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and harassment-free environment throughout the entire experience—on-site, online, and in any pre- or post-event communications.

We do not tolerate:

• Harassment, discrimination, or disrespectful behavior of any kind
  
  
• Offensive or disruptive conduct (verbal, physical, or written)
  
  
• Intoxication, illegal substances, or actions that compromise the safety or comfort of others
  
  
• Any behavior that violates local, state, federal, or international law
  
  

We reserve the right to remove any participant who violates this code—without refund. This applies before, during, and after the retreat across all channels of communication, including social media.

If you experience or witness behavior that undermines the safety or integrity of the retreat, please notify Digital Media Ghost directly. We’ll assess and respond promptly and seriously.

Public Health & Safety

All attendees are expected to follow any public health and hygiene guidelines in effect at the time of the retreat. This includes—but is not limited to—staying home if ill, practicing good hygiene, and respecting any safety protocols in place at the venue. We’ll provide any location-specific guidance as needed.

Media Release

By attending the retreat, you agree to be photographed and/or recorded by Digital Media Ghost or its authorized affiliates. These materials may be used for marketing, promotion, or documentation without compensation or further approval. You waive the right to inspect, approve, or claim royalties from any such use.

Liability Waiver

By paying your tuition and participating in the Ghostwriting Retreat hosted by Digital Media Ghost, you agree to assume all risks associated with your participation. This includes but is not limited to:

• Travel-related incidents
  
  
• Personal injury or illness
  
  
• Loss or theft of personal property
  
  
• Emotional or psychological impact related to workshop content or experiences
  
  

You release Digital Media Ghost, its affiliates, contractors, and agents (the “Organizers”) from any and all liability related to your participation in the retreat or its related activities. You acknowledge that participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

By submitting payment, you agree to the following refund policy:

• Now through June 30: Full refund minus $500 deposit
  
  
• July 1 – July 31: 50% refund (of total retreat cost)
  
  
• August 1 – August 30: 25% refund (of total retreat cost)
  
  
• After September 1: No refunds
  
  

For payment plan participants:
Your spot is not guaranteed until full payment is received. If someone completes a full payment before your balance is paid, you may lose your spot. In this case only, a full refund of any payments made will be issued.

By paying any portion of the retreat fee, you acknowledge and accept these terms in full.

This retreat is a labor of love—and an all-in investment by your host. In return, we expect each participant to show up with intention, professionalism, and a collaborative spirit. Let’s make this unforgettable—for all the right reasons.
